Are We There Yet?

This hike seemed to take forever! It was a long haul to the saddle and then an additional 2.4 miles to the summit. One in our party was dealing with some altitude sickness so we took it slow which allowed time to take in the beautiful views. Loved seeing the little cabins and dilapidated stone structures/chimneys and the walk along the creek was beautiful. Not much water but what you could see was so clear and the sound of the trickle so calming. The views from the summit were worth the climb!
