So our adventure started on the later side (9am). All was wonderful and arrived at camp at 11:20am. Being our first hike we were excited we were almost done (totally underestimated the miles here LMFAO). So 5.5 miles later we made it to the top at 2:30pm!! Wow was I exhausted and the thought of coming back down this late was scary (daylight savings). So we made our descend at 3pm with a pep in our step (jogging down). We arrived back at camp still with daylight 4:30pm. Eventually arrived back to our car at 5:30pm …
