Atop volcano

Short and steep but so worth the views. Sand and gravel make it somewhat difficult but millions of butterflies  🦋  made it magical. Absolutely perfect weather with just few gusty winds towards the peak. Not too many hikers at the peak but saw several on my way down. Patches of snow contributed to great views. 5 miles, about 2,000 elev gain, 3 hours including breaks. Did I mention the incredible views? 🌅
