Avalanche Trail

The hike was beautiful but colder then I expected. Arrived around 0730 and it was in the high 30’s. I knew even though unprepared for that we would warm up as we went. It had snowed the day before (learned that from another hiker) so there was snow patches on the ground but it wasnt icy. The weather did warm up but it was still a very brisk day and very windy in parts. The hardest and worst thing about this hike for me and my poor pooch is all the rock on so much of the trail. Made for unsteady steps which was hard on my feet and knees and her paws.
