We started hiking at 36°, 7am, hand warmers in gloves, wearing jackets and hats too! Layers started coming off 1 mile in, we warmed up quick! Always a great hike, but seeing the devastation from the fire was sad. We made it out to the lone pine, 8 ladies plus myself. Glad we got an early start, as the trail was getting pretty busy on our way back.
