Bachelor Butte

Great hike up Bachelor last month. It was my first time on the mountain and had really nice views of Broken Top and the three Sisters. A couple plumes of smoke off in the distance, but mostly clear skies. This was my first time back on the trails after the wildfires came through this summer, so this hike was much needed. It got me really excited for ski season this winter, as we got to see some of the lifts and runs. The first half of the hike meandered through forest – it had just rained, too – so things were nice and damp. The second half was a little harder, getting into some volcanic rock, but still really nice. Overall, solid hike.
