Bachelor Lung Buster

Hiked Bachelor yesterday (8/19), got lucky, as today is very smoky outside and you can’t see the mountains from Bend. Hazy, smoky skies yesterday, partial views. Bachelor is a lung buster of a hike. The first half isn’t too bad, but once you get above the Sunrise Chair, you encounter lots of loose scree, pebbles, rocks, etc. This is my 4th peak – two more to go!
