Backbone to Baldy

Crowded day on the trail. Parked by the trailhead at 6:30am and there were tons of cars there (more cars were parked by Icehouse Canyon). Hiked this as an out and back rather than doing the Baldy loop. The Devil’s Backbone trail is really cool! Did not use the chair lift on the way down, although it was tempting. Surprising there was little to no wind. Great hike!
