First time doing Baldy and loved it. I think that we absolutely did the best route going up Ski Hut and down Devil’s Backbone and Notch. Going this way is way less exposed to the sun on the way up. Was a picture perfect day. Can’t wait to do it again. Was busy this Saturday morning – got to Manker at like 6:30 and parked about 1/2 mile down the road from trailhead.
