Loved this route compared to the more crowded manker flats. Parking is tough but the trail is splendid. Tough, lots of friendly hikers training on it, and hot day. Make sure to reapply sunblock and chapstick! Got sunburned! Some snow. Took a side trip to west Baldy and it was perfect snow to practice self arrest and ice axe use
