Baldy Bowl

4/24/2021. First time going through this trail. Love it…will surely take this route going up again & perhaps take Devil’s Backbone trail going down. Definitely a very nice hike today. Mostly sunny with a combination of cool breeze & chilly winds particularly on the ridge areas. Somewhat steep. Going down was rather intense…of focusing foot placement & trying not to slip, trip or fall from loose gravel, rocks, & very dry soil. Trekking pole came in handy. Overall, it was a great hike with spectacular views.
