Baldy Bowl in the morning

Started my hike at 6:15am from Manker Flats in the dark but by the time I got halfway to the ski hut I was presented with the awesome glow of the bowl.  Trail was empty going up with the exception of one other couple I passed after the ski hut.  Trail became more challenging towards the last push but well worth the effort once I arrived at the summit.  Peak was windy but managed to grab a wind break to cook up some breakfast and coffee before heading down.  Excellent hike with rewarding views.
