Bear is not spelt D-O-E, ugh

So we normally hike with the same group every week, but is didn’t work out for this hike. We were minus our photographer and navigator. We made it to the trailhead parking lot at 530am and were all ready to go. We looked around but didn’t see any signs for Bear Mountain trailhead 54, all there was, was Doe. I figured, maybe we start on Doe and we will get a turn off for Bear…so may red flags but it took .4 miles and enjoying to view before we saw the actual trailhead across the street. (Face palm!) So we headed back down, crossed the street and begun the real hike we came for. It was tough and we kept a good pace. Views were beautiful from the few false summits and had shakey legs on the way down but enjoyed the amazing day!
