Bear Mountain Summit

I arrived at the trailhead around 7:30am and surprisingly the small parking lot had plenty of spots open. The morning was overcast and it was slated to rain at some point during the day. I ran into a few people on the way up and made it to the Summit in about an hour and a half. Once at the top I had the Summit to myself for about 15 minutes which was very peaceful. While the bugs were mildly annoying the lower temperatures for this time of year made the morning absolutely beautiful and it couldn’t have been better for a June 1st hike.
