Bear sitting on National Trail Day

Great hike! Trail conditions were good just a little soggy from the recent rain. The warm temperature made the hike a bit more challenging. The trail was busy got to say hi to lots of happy faces – human & animal. Saw a large black bear driving in, & fellow hikers confirmed there is one in the area. Upon departure it was sited lazing around a nearby water hole. This hike has never disappointed & is always surprisingly challenging. When you get to the top I always shake my head & think “I could have drove up!” But where the adventures ?
