Perfect hiking weather with just enough heat to break a sweat. The trail kicked off gently but didn’t waste time showing its steeper side. Some sections definitely got the legs burning, but nothing too extreme if you pace yourself.
The path was well marked throughout, with clear white trail blazes guiding the way.
The round trip clocked in at about four hours, including a couple breaks to take in the views and take some photos. The views are absolutely worth the effort. The geology along the trail was surprisingly cool layers of exposed rock, interesting formations, and a real sense of the mountain’s ancient history.
A challenging but rewarding hike.
Great recap! Always a pleasure hiking with you sir 😉
