Beast Mode

Morning was looking promising no clouds. Trail is marked by white sprayed on short lines. If you have short legs like mine, I had to scramble a little. Nothing to get over worked. Great views of the area. Several faults summits that I didn’t know about which made it more interesting. My boyfriend was carrying our daughter so we were a little slower and cautious on our steps. As we got to the summit, clouds started to darken and rain was in the distance. We change our daughter, feed her and ourselves, took some photos and headed down once we heard thunder. Clouds got darker and our goal was now to bet the rain. No rain for us! Great hike except wasn’t expecting the incline so quick at the beginning.
