Beautiful San Bernardino Peak
Also on this hike
We met up at 5:30am, only two cars in the parking lot. No bathroom at the trailhead. Started just after 6am as the sun was rising. The trail is somewhat overgrown in areas, pants are recommended to avoid scratches. Beautiful wildflowers lined the trail. It was so nice to see all of the regrowth happening but sad seeing the extent of the fire damage on the tall trees everywhere. This is a long trail mileage-wise but a good one because it didn’t seem to get too crazy steep. Just nice rolling hills, not too many large boulders or loose ground to maneuver. The toughest part to me just seemed to be the amount of time on your feet to complete the high mileage. The views are worth the effort!
