Beautiful views at Mt Eddy

Excellent trail, well marked and great atmosphere on the trail. It’s very mild election gain at the beginning, along a beautiful stream and meadow. Thee are great views of the surrounding mountains here. After passing some lakes there is a steeper climb to the top in the last mile.

I had heard trail reviews on this one and knew there was a great view of Shasta ONLY from the top. I held back this info for my wife, and the look on her face was PRICELESS! Such a breathtaking view at the top, perhaps the best view in the whole 6 peak challenge. Enjoy this one, it’s really great!
