Beauty in Ashes

My hiking friend, and I were in awe of the devastation on this mountain. However, we were taken in by the beauty of the wild flowers. Sometimes our focus could be on both views, and other times just one.

Is there a spiritual understanding to the landscape? I believe there is so I am sharing one idea here for you if you know of anyone grieving and mourning any type of loss.
