Belknap Crater (Mountain Repeat)

This was my second time up Belknap Crater this year. I forgot to log it in August.  I went with a friend from the coast and my son. We had a wonderful time, and despite our late afternoon start, were able to summit and get back to the car just as the sun was setting.  We met 3 PCT hikers on the trail and enjoyed a rich conversation about life on the PCT.  After we parted ways we continued our hike to the summit. The wind was really whipping at the top, but the view was beautiful! I really do think that this is one of my favorite hikes!
