Hiked with a partner

I hiked with my husband and a friend.  It was pretty chilly to start, about 29 degrees, but sunny.  Nice hike up with some frozen snowy patches along the way, which were a little muddy on the way down.  There was about a half mile towards the end that was really snow packed.  We put our micro-spikes on only for the way down, glad we had them, not required.  I hate falling.
