Berryessa Peak

The first few Miles of the trail were nice with a few water crossings. But after that, it was Fairly difficult and overall not very pleasant the trail turned into an unmaintained path that was hard to locate at times. There was extensive overgrowth in brush that made it difficult to enjoy the trail. We started at 9:30 in the morning and had to turn back before the formal peak given the conditions of the trail. we did a total of 12 miles and got back just before dark. Overall, I would not recommend this trail.
