Black Butte

The trail was uphill the whole way with some coverage from the sun at the beginning of the hike. Unfortunately I didn’t know there is a lower trailhead start or I would’ve started there but it is what it is. The view was fantastic! We started at 9am and there weren’t that many people and we avoided the heat as well. Trail was in good condition and the drive was fine until the lat mile where the road gets pretty bumpy but still passable.
