Beautiful day to summit Black Butte. We started from the lower trailhead. Didn’t hit snow until near the top but hikeable. Just hiked in some waterproof boots and did not take trekking poles. Trekking poles at top would have been nice. Fair amount of people and dogs for a Sunday Spring day.
