Black Butte from the Bottom Up

My dog and I hiked from the lower trailhead. It was our first time starting at the bottom.  The weather was hot by our standards. We only crossed paths with 4 people on the lower part of the trail.  So peaceful! We crossed paths with countless others on the upper trail.  The cool breeze and the views at the top were awesome! After spending roughly 45 minutes at the top, we made our way down.  What a great day!
