Black Butte on a Blue Bird Day

After a coffee stop in Sisters, we got an early start and enjoyed the cool morning ascent.  The 360 degree views were beautiful, with trees and all of the mountains still with snow.  It got pretty warm coming down and lots of people were going up of all ages, combinations and fitness levels.  The last mile of the hike is in the trees and the shade felt good.  Great time!
