Black Friday High Point

I opted to hike during Black Friday. Due to High Point Palomar being open 24-hours I chose this one so I wouldn’t be under time constraints and hike Hot Springs the following day.  The weather was nice. Not too hot although later in the day it was windy but as I had brought layers, it wasn’t a problem. There were some vehicles on the fire road today but otherwise I had the trail mostly to myself. The hike went without incident and on the way down, daylight ended so I used the headlights. I got back to my vehicle around 8 PM.
