Black Mountain Magic

Hike began with wide, paved path rolling up to trail that led its way to a fork where I decided to take the clockwise direction of the loop.  Path was decently marked until started to come closer to summit, which was much more difficult to navigate through the volcanic rock portion. Came off of trail several times and made best attempt to navigate towards flag mounted at the summit. Even after reaching the summit, still had issues finding way back to trail. After 10 minutes or so of making way through made it back to the trail for a windy decent. Sun was starting to set, so ended up running back to the bottom and making it before the sun went down.
