Blazing Black Crater Summit

It was a hot, hot day and I’d been on my feet for several hours the previous 3 days working at the quilt shop as it was also Sisters Quilt Show this weekend.

I took over 30 pictures of the flora as it was beautiful! The fire that went through a handful of years ago left this hike a bit eery but still quite beautiful and we could see the crazy configurations the trees had grown in! It was nice to see the undergrowth coming back though.
