Blissful Day on Black Crater

The trail is in good shape though there was one medium sized snowfield to cross (this post is late so the snow is likely almost gone).  It was sunny but there was a breeze which kept the temperature pleasant on the way up.  It got a bit warm on the descent though as the breeze had subsided.  Beautiful wildflowers near the summit.  We usually do this hike in October so the flowers were a pleasant surprise.
