Such a beautiful day to hike Black Butte! I have attempted once before but turned back as the weather had changed & we weren’t prepared for it, so I was happy to get to the top today! Absolutely wowed by the views, I always love seeing the big peaks in all their glory & today was absolutely perfect. Had a great day on the trail!
There’s is still snow up top, seems to be melting quickly, I had no issues crossing the snow with just my trekking poles, I just took it slow & was a little more cautious since it was a little slushy & I was solo.
