Heavy wind gusts on top of the peak made for beautiful clear blue skies and great views of the bay. Felt like a pilgrimage with the number of hikers that were on the trail. We returned on the Eagle trail (not nearly as crowded) and had a nice peaceful picnic at the Eagle Spring Backpack Camp.
