Bonanza – The Adventure Began Before the Trailhead

We did not realize when we were driving to the trailhead truly how rough the road was. My little Chevy Spark made it, but we got a few scratches along the way. Would definitely recommend a higher clearance vehicle.

Also, AllTrails will try to tell you this is 7.5 miles round trip. It is not. Based on comments I saw for the trail, my friend’s watch reading and my own, you’re looking at anywhere between 9.25 – 9.75 miles.

The trail itself was gorgeous! The wildflowers were blooming towards the top and the views were spectacular. The trail had a few fallen trees, but nothing impassable. 10/10, great way to spend a sunday.
