The hike was very difficult to navigate and needed All-Trails map to keep the group on trail for most of the way up. On the way back, the trek completed using landmarks and the online map. Very beautiful on top with many great views of Lassen Peak. The weather was warm and the bullfrogs were croaking. Much water rushing under the snow below us, so be careful. Crampons a must, and poles recommended. Start early.
