Perfect weather for this beast! High of 78 degrees. I brought 2.5L of water and ran out at the last mile. I would recommend to bring an electrolyte drink and a few snacks and/or a sandwich. El Capitan peak is to the right of El Cajon as you get close to the top. You may as well go another 0.5 mile to get to another peak. There are also some caves/mines to check out. Prepare for a half day trip. Try to have fun!
