Buddy Hike Only!

Do not underestimate this hike! I solo hike 95% of the time, I have a good deal of experience and I got really really lost. Past the beginning mile there is no trail, no markings at all, just a general idea of climb up. And then down.  I strongly urge you to hike with a buddy, it won’t guarantee you don’t get lost but two heads are usually better. I only made it down after finding my way back to the trail where I met two wonderful women who led me down. They had run into another woman further up who had also gotten lost.

Honestly this trail feels unsafe, even for a challenge like this. The chances are too high that someone will get lost and /or hurt. It just isn’t worth it for a sticker and a t-shirt.
