Bug Season on Mt. Wilson

A super buggy hike up to Mt. Wilson — lots of biting horseflies kept me going at pretty fast pace without any real breaks until the summit. They weren’t so bad the first couple of miles but got worse from Hoegee’s Camp up to the top. There was a downed tree and a rockslide on trail to navigate around, but manageable. Otherwise a great trail, lots of nice views. I started early to beat the heat and would definitely come back during a less buggy time of year next time!
