Bugs a plenty on Hot Springs Mountain

Started at 8:45, need to pay at the Reservation Police shack, $10 per person. If no one there, make a note, add name, license plate number and your cash, put in door slot. Trail in good condition. First 2 and last 1/2 were the hardest. Biting bugs/flies all over us. Suggest using a good bug spray before going and take a head net. At the summit clearing, don’t go left to the old tower, GO RIGHT TO A SMALL STACK OF SMALL BOULDERS AND A SMALL HIDDEN TRAIL BESIDE IT. Follow that trail thru thick foliage until you think u have gone too far, you will see HUGE boulders and a metal ladder. And a cache can. Up and over using the straps to the top. CAREFUL. There is the sign???? Weather was 77 degrees but ok for the hike.
