Bust a Mission

Probably my favorite peak and trail! There is the last push past the backpackers camp to the summit which was terrifying and difficult to move because the winds were extreme. Poles were parallel to the ground! But the views up top were worth it. Some coverage to block the wind if you sit in the right spot. Clear sunny gorgeous day. Not hot. COWSSSSSS all along the trail and baby ones which had me on edge after reading the moms will charge you. Nobody on trail except 3 different women groups- one was solo, another were two and the last group 3. So empowering to see them on the trail backpcking. Lots of animal bones. Green wide open spaced hills so lush and peaceful with cows grazing. Best peak, now crowded, quiet except super windy! Peak was like where civilization begins again lol great trail though!
