Cactus to Clouds!!! We did it!

Epic Cactus to Clouds hike with massive elevation gain (10,922ft!!!!). One of the hardest hikes in the US and we did it!! After summiting Whitney in August, this felt doable and we were right. There was a very torturous section around mile 8-9, but we pushed through. After we got to a ranger’s station it was a piece of cake to the top. It’s amazing to start in the desert and go through all of the climate zones to reach alpine environment with snow! It was the first snowfall of the season and most of it has melted by the time we got there. It was amazing to take the tram down and realize that we hiked all that elevation gain ourselves. Definitely the hardest hike in my life so far, but I might do it again =)
