Wife and I decided to celebrate her birthday by signing up for this Arizona Winter 6 POP Challenge. The plan was to complete at least 4 peaks during a 5-day road trip from Southern California. Camelback Mountain was the first peak we hiked. To climb this, I would suggest to pace yourself as you’ll find yourself in a steep climb. Good thing the weather forecast was foul…forecasted to rain but it turned out to be sunny otherwise had it rained it would have been one muddy and messy hike.
