A ton of people hiking this trail. Would recommend getting there early. Started the hike at 9:30. Weather was cold when we started but warmed up as the day went on. Very technical hike, recommend hiking boots for traction. The terrain and elevation gain make this difficult. Would recommend taking your time for safety. Can be dangerous if rushed. Beautiful hike with the views of phoenix at the peak. Plenty of cactus and other plants along the way.
