Camel’s Hump Joy

This was my favorite hike of the challenge! It was a perfect balance of climbing without an intense amount of incline.

We opted to hike up Monroe to the Long Trail and come down the Long Trail to Dean back to Monroe. I wanted to give my Mom the option of turning around and going down Monroe if she wanted. We didn’t expect that coming down the Long Trail in that direction to be quite as steep as it was. Once we got to Dean, it was smooth sailing.

Note: A lot of dogs off leash, if you don’t like running into them.
