Cathy Griffith for the win

Nice day, arrived early to a great front row parking spot at  the trailhead.
the hike was nice and cool all the way to the peak. There was a bit of Sun exposure but with the early start I enjoyed some additional mountain shade.

Pretty busy trail, probably passed by 30 or so hikers throughout the day. Made it up and back in about 5 hours with a little time spent smelling the roses.

Parking lot was completely full when I returned to my car at about noon, vehicles were parked at every inch of the shoulder for about a mile down the road. Come early!
