Cayamuca Peak

We started this hike about 7:30 and hiked it counter clockwise. It was a beautiful trail and very gradual. It did not feel like we climbed over 1,800 feet. The summit was nice, but some bugs. We saw less than a dozen people on the trail. The way down on the paved road was not as fun as it was steep, hot and just hard on the knees.  I would almost rather go back the way we ascended!  All in all a great day and hike. We had to pay $10 for the day use.
