Celebrate Earth Day on Bear Mountain CT

On a beautiful spring day we hiked this awesome trail. We were serenaded by woodpeckers until we passed the tree line. Then the cool air caressed our faces as we enjoyed the long views in every direction. The large man made rock pile on top is over one hundred years old and makes a unique summit feature. It always a treat to leave footprints on the AT … and this trail provided that feature ???? Great hike making memories with  a super partner
