After Sandia Crest, this hike was intended as a semi-rest day. A lovely forest walk to begin, before amazing above tree line views of the Valles Caldera and other volcanic features of Bandelier National Monument. Another glorious day, lingering at the summit for an early lunch. Since it was only a twenty minute drive from the trailhead, I went on to visit Bandelier National Monument proper. Thoroughly enjoyed this hike with stunning views.
