Hiked with a partner

Very interesting hike. Both partner and I had no experience with snow and ice – so we both brought yaktrax, but were able to navigate without them. Route not well marked, so we didn’t even realize when we got to Mt Pinos peak (figured it out on our way back) and missed the turnoff to Sawmill, but figured that out also by looking at the map. It was a beautiful hike – only saw one other person on the trail. Love the history!
