Cheers to Cuyamaca

Amazing way to finish out the Challenge!  The fire road was finally open, as it was clear of any machinery or signs.  The 5.5 miles went by quick – Elevation was challenging, but I still had Christmas carbs in me 🙂  I did this hike 6 years ago and I just remember all the burned trees.  This time, I saw all the beauty, the regrowth, the promise.  If 2020 taught me anything, it’s to focus on the positive…there is so much in life to be grateful for!
